There is so much one learns".(The ISSP employs students as 'peer advisors'to help new international students with their problems in the new environment.) Charlie Miller, assistant direc- tor\of housing , said, "The best thing about on-campus employ¬ ment is that students don't have to drive long distances to and from their workplace. Everything is right here on campus." "Also, students take pride in their work when they know they are. working on, their own cam¬ pus," he said. "When students from the same community work together, they are more efficient and enjoy the work better," he added. f • One develops an "I did that and I'm proud of it attitude," he said. On the whole, students seem to be satisfied with the employment opportunities that the university provides and seem to prefer work¬ ing on campus where they have the freedom to work around their schedules, without having to go very far.
