It was a great idea and very well carried out. To the administrators responsible and more especially to you students who have come here so far to prepare for you life careers: Thank you I As an American, I very much appreci¬ ate learning about your cultures.- For me, the international show and cultural display and food sale were a chance to travel without going anywhere, a chance to see the world'so easily because the world has come to herel Fantastic! I look forward to knowing and enjoying even morel joanDmkin Equal judgement To the Editor: In regards to your coverage of all this crap, I personally cannot see how one race can claim superiority over all other races (the minorities), when Cod did not put any more breath into them, than others. It really shocks me when I pick up a Collegian or Insight, and find that there are students here on campus that believe what the KKK stands for. TRANSIT Watch for Use Fresno TV-anait Yellow Pages Donor prizes offered CSUF Health Science sponsors blood drive A campus blood drive will begin next week, with prizes going to the campus organization with the highest percentage of donation. Sponsored by the CSUF Health Science club, this semes¬ ter's event will begin Tuesday, Nov. 18, on the main level of the College Union. It will continue until Thursday, Nov. 20, and run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Students wishing to donate are advised to eat a large break¬ fast on the morning they plan to donate, in order to provide an ample amount of energy. Refreshments will be provided for quick energy after the donation. The campus club donating the most blood will receive a plaque with their names inscribed on it as the winners of the Fall 1980 Blood Drive. All participants will receive T-shirts for their donation. The drive was arranged with the assistance of the Student Nurses Association, the Chicano Health Organization, and Al pha Kappa Ps i pledges. Cello recital Cellist Nancy Cousins and pianist Lynn McConahey will appear in a recital Sunday. The recital is spon¬ sored by the Musk Department at CSUF and will be held at S p.m. In the Musk Building Recital Hall. There is no admission charge. Nancy Cousins earned her bachelor's and master's degrees at CSUF and has established herself as one of the leading string players in the Fresno area. She has performed frequently as a soloist and as a chamber musician throughout California, including appearances on the Monday Even¬ ing Concerts series In Los Angeles, at the Mozart Festival in San Luis Obispo, and at the Bear Valley Musk Festival. Lynn McConahey, a native of Sah Francisco, is a graduate and former staff member of San Jose State Uni¬ versity. Winner of numerous awards and honors, she makes frequent appearances as a redtallst, sym¬ phony soloist, accompanist, and dumber musk performer. The CSUF recital will include musk by Boccherini, Beethoven, Stravinsky, Richard Strauss, and Cinastera.
