From Page S Playing before a highly partisan pro- Baker crowd, Penta-Gonza-Live never trailed in the contest (the game was tied only twice at 2-2 and 4-4) Clay Lees bomb from the corner with 13 08 left in the first half put Penta- Conza-Live on top 11-6 Paul Resler's lay up moved the lead to 17-10 with 7 13 to go Marshall Hughes hit a bomb from the top of the key to make it 19-12 but Peon U stormed back to cut the margin to 19 16on Wayne JudRes hook shot Unshaken, Penta-Con/a-Live kept its poise and increased the lead again to seven and went in at the half leading 27-20 At the start of the second half. Peon U went nearly four and a half minutes before making a mark, while the hot shooting P-C-L romped out to 38-20 when Penta-Conza-Live I cold spell in the second half (seven min¬ utes without scoring). Alpha Phi Alpha controlled the tempo of the game throughout the second hall and the Outlanders were handicapped when high scoring Dale Delmanowski fouled out with over 12 minutes to go in the game With the win Alpha Phi Alpha advanc ed into the semi-finals to become the first fraternity team to do so since 1976 when SAE made it into the finals The men's quarter finals were com pleted last Thursday night when Clock¬ work Spud played HMFIC in a battle of Thursday power league teams. In Women's play, the final four has been set and both games will be played on Tuesday night at 6 in the men's gym Unranked G T I advanced into the semis by eeking out a nail biting sudden death IS 14 over Graves Gals.
