Turncy Powers, ASB vice-president, is the Blood Rally chairman. Organizations donating the most blood last year were Graves Hall, Delta Gamma sorority and Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Powers said 110 units were donated Last year, compared to the 401 units donated in March. 1952, the first year of the Blood Rally. Half of the blood donated is credited to the Fresno State College faculty and the remaining half to the Hospital. "If a person had to buy blood," said Powers, "it would cost $25 a pint or must be replaced on a two to one basis.
