If the odor stemming from last night's com¬ edy hour ever escapes the gym, the entire school might become contaminated. Never ln the course of stage, screen or radio has acomedyact ever surpassed the hilarious rou¬ tine enacted by the members of the Cal State of Hayward and Fresno State College basketball squads. The little theater has never presented anything with such a humorous touch. If the bizarre spectacle was not so pathetic, It would be even more ludicrous. Approximately 1000 onlookers rollicked ln their seats as plays did not work, passes were thrown away, violation upon violation was whistled, shots were missed, and players scrambled madly for loose balls. It was Shakespeare who said, •All the world ls a stage,* and It was the Fresno State Bulldogs who starred ln this laughter. Stage fright must have struck, for the most encouraging post game? remark was, 'thank god s hard pressed for topbllling these a Funny part about It, It started out like It was going to be a bas¬ ketball game. Nothing could have been further from the truth. FSC continually shattered the halfhearted press thrown up by the Pioneers, and converted the mistake Into easy three on two, or two on one layups.
