What started out as a gim¬
mick to raise benefit money has
set a fashion trend that's
reached to Paris.
In 1961 a group of New York
fabric designers hit on a novel
scheme: They invited leading
couturiers to join them. The
fashion designer would make a
creation out of "any of the fab¬
rics   commonly   used   in   home
black and white hip-hugger boll-
bottoms and matchliij cap set off
by a brightly printed Edwardian
high-collared shirt and the widest

a base for the eggs.
Glue this base on first and then
make toe arms and legs for each
egg. Use embroidery floss or thin
yarn for hair.
To blow out eggs, start with
clean, white fresh eggs. Use a
darning needle. Make a hole in
one end of the egg and a sltghUy
larger bole at the other end.
Pierce toe yolk.
Next, rinse the egg out weU
with water and allow to air dry.
P.S.—If eggs become marred
by fingerprints, sponge with al¬
cohol before dyeing.
