Members of tbe Northern California Iranian Students Association (NCISA) held a peaceful demonstration on campus Tuesday,
display!^ signs and chanting slogans protesting tbe Shah of Iran's
visit to tbe United States.
Some of tbe slogans appeared at three places off campus also.
Tie walls of several buildings on Maple Avenue—Including
the 7-11 store, an apartment building, and the Campus Baptist Church, were defaced with black spray paint.
However, Mohmad Mobarez, a member of the NCISA, said
that Us organisation is not responsible for the vandalism, and
does not approve of such tactics.
Tbe vandals ramain at large, although their handiwork leaves

and girls ages 10 to 12 for "Camp
Bulldog," a weekend camping
experience conducted by tbe
Camp Management class of tbe
Physical Education-Recreation
Department.
The camp will be held Nov.
4-6 at the Bob Mathias Sierra
Camp, located near tbe entrance
to Kings Canyon National Park.
The deadline for registration Is
Friday, Oct. 28.

hiking and survival, sports and
Paula Guzman, a former re-,
creation Instructor at CSU, Fresno, started tbe camp as a way
of giving practical experience
to CSUF students in camp management.-
Gwen Hansen, a lecturer In
physical education-recreation,
said the' students organize, staff
and operate tbe camp. Tbey select a camp site, plan all of the
programs, make arrangements
for food and provide supervision
throughout the weekend.
