When you really get Into It, you share the music with the audience. You share your emotions, and that's what music ls all about, the sharing between the audience and the performer." PERFORMS BY MEMORY Kidder, who has studied the piano since she was eight years old, performs by memory. 1 get really nervous before I go out there. But deep down inside I know It'll go all right. I never go out unless I'm prepared. "If you worry about making a mistake or losing your memory, It'll happen. You Just have to put those thoughts out of your head." Kidder's program will include "Andante con Varlazlonl in F Minor" hy Joseph Haydn, 'Sonata, Opus 31, No. 2" by Beethoven, "Prelude and Fugue, Opus 35* and "On Wings of Song" by Mendelssohn, and "Sonetto del Petrarca, No. 104* and "Paganlnl Etude No. 5" by Franz Liszt. BACKGROUND A studfiht of CSUF professor of must netl, Kidder has accompanied the Fi Chorus, the CSUF Concert Choir, and vi classes. She has also performed with tl semble and the Keyboard Ensemble. A member of the Mu phi Epsilon Music Society, she has been assistant accompanist for the Fresno Opera Association and for "Honor Festivals" sponsored by the Fresno-Madera Music Teachers A native Fresnan and McLane High graduate, Kidder plans to pursue a master's degree In.music performance. Colvin was treated and released at Community Hospital.(Photo by Barry Wong) Enrollment sets record Enrollment for the fall 1975 semester at CSUF has reached 15,711, some 400 ahead of last fall and a record number for the university. The largest growth area ts the School of Craduate Studies with |ust over 3,500 students, an Increase of 200 from last fall. New graduate students totaled nearly 1,200. Robert Board, CSUF registrar, reported gains al the freshman^ sophomore and Junior class lev- slight dip Ih the Associated Student Body President David Price said he was concerned with these Increases as far as specific services for students was concerned. "The three key areas to me are the graduate students, part-time students, and night stiaientsbecause this Is where I think we can play •We'd like to provide more' services designed tohelpsomeof these folks," said Price.
