Jones has 1,488 for a three-
year varsity career and ranks
fourth on the all-time CSUF
scoring list.
With the double-figure scoring of Jones, Rodney Shanks-(14),
Mark Haddan and Joe Koslnskl
(10 each), the Bulldogs offset
the 22-polnt performance ofFul-
lerton's 6-foot 5-lnch sophomore
Greg Bunch.
The Bulldogs were hot from the
field, connecting pn 34 of 64 attempts (53 per cent), compared
ylth the Titans' 28 of 64 (44 per
cent).

Errors ruin batters

Baseball Is called a game of

games last weekend, you'd probably call it a game of mistakes.
In a contest the Bulldogs tiled
to give away but the St. Mary's
Gaels refused to take, Fresno
salvaged die last game of a weekend series against two Bay Area
schools, winning 9-7 in the second
game of a Saturday doubleheader.
CSUF opened the weekend series by dropping an 8-0 decision
to the University of California
Bears. St. Mary'swonSaturday's
