CAMPAIGN SPEECHES A candidate for the Student Body presidency should be required to consider and analyze student problems before assuming the responsibilities of presiding officer. He will find it necessary to think if he has to (rive a campaign speech before thc election. He will give definite thought as to how student body matters should be handled. Furthermore, the students should know what their candidates look like before they vote for them. Last year, when Lester Neilson was nominated for President, no one knew what he looked like. A green turtle may have been running for office, for all the students knew. As a result, the vote was light especially among the Put your candidate up before tl his paces. Let him shoot his line foi know whom to vote for. Few students realize what our advertisers are to thc paper, and what they should be the school.
