From '40-41 Budget Requests
The Board of Directors will meet' today to begin thc task of
slicing nearly $2,000 from thc $28,099 in budget requests for the
1040-11 year.
" At the first budget meeting of thc board Wednesday, Arthur
Safstrom, association general manager, disclosed that the requests
by thc various campus organizations totaled $1,819 more than the
allotted budget of $20,280 for the current college year.

Four Student Officers Will Be
Selected in Run-off Election
By Bob Smith
Four students officers will be selected today in a run-off vote
following Wednesday's election when two offices were filled and
two constitutional changes were approved.
Bob Smale, edged out Dick Turnbull by 26 tallies for the vice-
presidency Wednesday when 731 students went to the polls.
Smale garnered 372 votes to Turnbull's 346.
