EDITORIAL COMMENTS —The Fresno State College Collegian— In Bad Taste Some of the poorest taste to be publicly exhibited by student leaders was on display at the last student council meeting when Student President Marvin Harrison presented a crucifixion symbol to Vice President Norman Winslow. Presenting the "award" at the same time he was commending two committee chairmen, Harrison said Winslow had been "publicly attacked." We suppose the cricifixion symbol was to soothe Winslow's "nail scarred hands." It is a suitable gesture for Eugenie Madden, public relations chairman, and Bobby Jones, rally committee chairman to be commended for their fine committee work. But giving a cross to Winslow was completely out of line seriousness of student government. The Collegian does not feel that Winslow was attacked." He was asked to account for some promises he made last spring, and he did so without dcla.'. Winslow was never "nailed to the cross," and he and Harrison should not feel that he ever has been. If they feel that way, the pair should keep it on a personal basis a not exhibit r their personal feelings M student execute before the student body representatives.
