Supertramp is five English musicians who know how to play their Instruments and please an audience. Their poise was best lhc-wn with the umbrella snd lounge chairs they had set up on stage from their third album, "Crisis, What Crisis?" When one of them wasn't performing they kicked back and enjoyed their Supertramp played a mixture of songs from "Crime of the Century", "Cri»is", »nd their recent release, 'Even In the Quietest Moment*." Since their first album "Indelibly Stamped," Supertramp ha* grown slowly mellower with each albjlfn In concert, though, they nVix it up, so a* to keep everyone happy "Crime of the Century" was excellently enhanced by a sight travelling through space to ultimately end up facing a barred prison window, with a pair of hands tightly grasping the bars Although no! a punk rock concert, Supertramp showed enough sign* of vi pleate the hard-core rockers. Fresno is their favorite city in the U.S. and rightly so. We've put them in gold on their second album so they paid us a tribute, more concerts here than In San Francisco or LA. 1 am glad I was there to see the big 8 The Tubes are next. The men are delighted. As news of Dewey's tnumph spreads, so - among beer connoisseurs — does the reputation of the rich tasting beer known as San Miguel.
