First time in over a month Bulldogs expected to win against Fullerton State .eaS By David Dairy For the first time in over a month the Bulldog football team is playing a game they are expected to win, Saturday when they host Fullerton Stale in Ratclrffe vtonVimaf 7 30 o m Bulldog hood coach Bob Padilla and his staff are making an effort to see that what happened to them against Cal Pofy-San Luis Obispo (the last game they were expected to win) doesn't aanst Fullerton The Bulldogs 3-6 on the year and 1-2 m lost 26-0 to Cal Poly 'We have improved drastically ' said 'Now all of a sudden we ore I a taam like Fullerton that we am favored over If your kids really believe they are favored they might relax men- ally That could have an effect on the lame and that is our problem a* coaches - to keep them in line 'We have played very well against some good football teams.' said Padilla 'You can get m your mind that you're playing sonvaone that's not good and that's not true If they had a quarter back, they would probably have bettor athletes, in general, than we do ' The T itans' problem at quarter back is that they have lost their first and second stringers to iniunes Due to that, they have been forced to go with inexperienced freshman Kim Green to run their veer offense Last Saturday was a learning exper lence for Green ogamit Utah State The freshman completed only 6 of 22 passes for 97 yards But when the Titans get their option hove to worry about passing On the ground, the 2-6 Titans count on running backs Andy Gray and John Rayford to gam yardage Rayford attended Avenal High School in the Valley before moving on to Fresno City Collage where he set a single season rushing record of 1.109 yards for the Rams last leeson Fullerton also sports the nation's third loading kickoff returner tn Cray The 5-9, 16t>pound sensor has run a couple of kicks back for touchdowns and has lost a couple rnore on clipping penalties According to Padilla, the Titans have one of the best offensive line m the conference Guards Jim Smith, a 6-3, 245-pound senior and Mike McClinton. a 6-3, 240-pound sophomore, give the Titans 'Two of the best guards on the coast,' in the, view of Fullerton hood coach JimCoUetto Defensively, the Titans find strength m middle guard Richard Aguilar. a 5-11, is also at linebacker, with 6-3, 210- pound senior John Bungartz leading the group The injury situation has stabilized a bit for the Bulldogs While the lost defen sive tackle Mike O Doherty to knee surgery, center Pat Pakjmbo returns to the lineup after a kriee iniury engineer/ Pacific Gas and Electric Company, serving nearly 9 million customers in Central and Northern California is looking for: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING CE's, EE s and ME s who wish to become on- site field engineers for our General Contraction Department Work emphasis is on administration and supervision of a great variety of energy construction projects PGandE recruiters will be interview ing graduating seniors on Nov.* Pacific Gas and Electric Company 245 Martcpl Street San rpjjQggfc CA 94106 , An( MBA in AGRIBUSINESS UniversHy of Santa Ova A unique program leading to the Master ot Business Admirntstj-atJon Degree tor those undergraduate science majors and others who are planning a career in the management ot enterprise associated with Agriculture. a The curriculum consists ot three parts: Nine general MBA Courses Eight Agribusiness Courses Four Etectives Twelve to Eighteen month rwOfTnally are required to comptete the program.
