The Central California Blood Bank will host the CSUF Blood Drive Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Satellte Student Union. Dan Cobb, a spokesman for the blood bank, said 200 pints of blood a day are needed just to keep up with current demands. He said the goal for the blood drive Is 500 pints, and the 48,700 figure heard on tocal piflCjc service announcements and seen' on flyers is a yearly figure and not intended to be raised in one afternoon. However, the blood can't be guaranteed to be that of the donors because that which would require freezing the blood. At this Ume. the blood bank does not have the facilities to freeze blood.
