the gumballs into my mouth at
the same time. Chewing more
gum than I'd ever had at one time.
I felt so horribly guilty that they
made me feel sick. I regretted
doing something that caused me
such guilt, and I spit them but.

Athletic Corp.. said the NaUonal Colle¬
giate AthleUc Association (NCAA) only
identifies the university as FSU and
changing the name would not affect
how the university Is known In naUonal
sports.
"Changing the name to Fresno State
will not change the media. The NCAA
uses FSU in all their stats. The [Big
West Conference) also uses FSU." said
Graham.
Thomas Ebert. associate librarian,
said. "The athleUc department should
be told we are California State Univer¬
sity. Fresno."
The ldeafor the name change, which
has been debated in the past, was re¬
born from a Public Awareness Commit¬
tee that was formed during a 1987
retreat where faculty and administra¬
tors tagged the name change as one of
several Image-enhancers for the uni¬
versity.
