Even though Fresno's side won, KA® pledges were detailed to sleeping bags downstairs while actives slept on the more comfortable mattresses. Many other guests were also entertained throughout the year at the KA® House. The sorority played host, with the assistance of Delta Sigma Phi, to Santa Claus and forty under-privileged children. Spring brought more visitors, a district workshop, and a national officer inside the doors of the local chapter.
