The Education Department, while not specifically interested in horticulture, is concerned with the scholastic leanings of its students and its students' students, the pupils in the demonstration school. Dr. Ralph F. Evans heads the department. Under his guidance Fresno State trains teachers who in turn will train elementary and high school students of tomorrow. While Fresno State is no longer strictly a teachers' college, the Education Department continues to perform one of its most important functions. Student teacher in demonstration school.
