DRAMA 'Bring them both in." The Queens Husband THE closing production of the season, outside of the assembly program given in May, was the presentation of Robert E. Sherwood's brilliant comedy and satire, "The Queen's Husband". A play that was beautifully done, it probably hit the high-water mark so far for College Theatre productions. Owing to necessary changes in the cast a week before production, the cast and directors overcame tremendous obstacles to produce a grand play. And the audience was more enthusiastic than ever over the work done in it. The setting, designed by John Wright and executed by technician, Ray Fortune and the classes in stagecraft, was one of the most beautiful and elaborate ever seen in any production produced in the College Theatre. The walls were panelled their entire height, the roof was vaulted, but the outstanding feature of the set was the use of the two tall doors at the back of the stage. These were opened— artistically designed French doors fitted in and a drop placed outside the auditorium representing a courtyard and city beyond. The depth and beauty of the set, caused a hush and then applause in the audience. Mr. John Willis Wright returned to the other side of the foot-lights for the first time since his appearance last year in Three Live Ghosts. His role this time was portrayed even more skillfully. Miss Eleanor Johnston, a newcomer to our stage, was taken seriously ill with tonsilitis one week before the play, at a time when she was doing exceptional work. Miss Kay Toohey who played in the productions of this group before, stepped into Miss Johnston's place and did an excellent piece of acting. Mr. Wright ventured the part of the "queen's husband", King Eric VIII; Miss Toohey played the part of the queen. Miss Kate Moodey returned to take a lead in the part of the Princess Anne, which
