(Judicial fowdA. Judicial in name only were the Men's and Women's Judicial Courts the past year. The names, changed from the old Court of Tradition, gives a faint hint as to. what the duties would have been, had any undergraduate performed in a caddish manner towards Fresno State's hallowed traditions. The Women's Court, headed by Paula Park, was composed of two sister teams, Elizabeth and Patricia Murphy, Sarah and Virginia MacCracken, and Mary Peterson and Miss Park. The same number of men made up the Men's Court, under the guidance of Philip "Bud" Andrews. Men handing down no judgments included Ben Finney, Herb Futrell, Earl Smitt- camp, Earl Sohm, and Robert Williams. Perhaps undergraduates could think of no crimes to perpetrate, perhaps they lacked "school spirit" or maybe they were just unaware that anything interesting would be done to them in the way of punishment. At any rate, they burned no bonfire and managed to refrain from climbing over benches and flora to step on the hallowed seal. What could the Courts do? That's right. They didn't.
