@otH*tttttee& "PCay Problems concerning the student's relations with the Health Center is the prime concern of this committee. A complete student insurance policy was advocated by the committee, and most students took heed. Dr. Marvyn Schwartz is the faculty sponsor, as well as head resident doctor. Dr. Marshall Fiese Memorial This building was named after the former director of Health Services at Fresno State College, Dr. Fiese, who was killed in a train-truck collision near Bakersfield March 1, 1960. He was a native of Fresno, a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine. Before his death he authored what is considered the first complete book on the subject of Valley Fever. Margo Reynolds, Sheri Welch, and Mary Tolle (not pictured) constitute student membership on the committee. Atfhwuf @ontntittee One of the most populated areas of the campus, excluding the snack bar, is the library. Attractions include the Homan Stamp Collection and the California Room, the books donated by Roy J. Woodward. These are the responsibility of the committee, to see that they are made known and available. This committee, too, works as a laison between students and the library. Committee members, Tobe McGillis and Kathy Casey, look over a, new book in the California Room. Dr. Henry Madden Sponsor and Head Librarian 42
