Music and art are included in the Fine Arts department. This division plays a dual role on the
Fresno State campus; besides the vocational
training of students who have interests in the
field, the department provides opportunity for
students to gain an appreciation of the arts and
to experience fuller cultural living
The Art Gallery in room 208 of the art building
is used for student exhibits during the year. The
senior students present collections of their work
during the semester. In the spring there was a
sale of students' work. This gallery is also used
for folk art and exhibits from many countries of
the world.
