Each year the Delta Gammas elect an Anchor Man—
this year Mike Mathieson, Kappa Sigma Fraternity, carried the honor. D.G.'s took top prize during the Halloween themed Homecoming Week, in the float contest
with their two black cats on a green base entitled,
"Tails We Win." Highest scholarship in the sorority
division and "speediest" in the Pushcart Relays gave
Delta Gamma two more top notch trophies this year.
The sorority participated in the Greek Sing, Masque
Ball, Blue Key Carnival, and held its annual Mother's
Day Brunch, Father-Daughter Barbecue, and Founder's
Day Luncheon.
D.G.'s local projects include the support of a foster child
and a scholarship to an educational major. Nationally,
they give aid to the blind.
Along with the 84 other chapters in the United States,
FSC's Lambda Gamma chapter of Delta Gamma is symbolized by a gold anchor pin, a cream-colored rose, and
the colors bronze, pink and blue.
